16 ACME handles are available with a choice of six handle materials: fiberglass; metal; steel; wood; wood/plastic; and wood/steel. Other selectable options include: handle thread; handle type; tip material; handle length; handle diameter; extension handle; and flow thru.

The main advantage to an ACME thread is a low number of threads per inch. This allows ACME threads to allow for increased linear actuation per turn. Compared to regular threads, Acme threads are wider, deeper, and have a square shape (unlike standard "V" shaped threads). This gives them greater strength and also makes them easier to assemble and disassemble.
